At this dark but pivotal moment in history, you are invited to join with Christians from around the world in a deeply meaningful act of solidarity. Come to Bethlehem and explore faith, peace, and justice with guidance from Palestinian Christian church leaders and theologians.

Christ as the Checkpoint is the flagship conference of the Bethlehem Institute for Peace and Justice at Bethlehem Bible College. Rooted in Jesus and his teaching, the conference from December 27, 2026 through December 31, 2026 will focus on “Kingdom Ethics in the Face of War and Genocide.” NB: This conference had previously been scheduled for May of 2026 but was rescheduled to December 2026 due to regional instability.
