U.S. State Department Reports an Increase in Attacks on Palestinian Civilians

Today, the on-line news service Axios published an insightful summary of a recent U.S. State Department report regarding Israeli settler violence against Palestinian civilians. Based on United Nations monitoring data and Israeli intelligence service reports for the year 2021, the U.S. State Department report cited a sizable increase in the number, scale, severity, and geographical scope of the attacks. The State Department went on to say that Israeli security forces “rarely held the settlers accountable.”
